Beauty World, León's principal project, focuses on mechanisms of beauty. The images and commercials she presents remind the viewer of advertising material from the world of fashion as they simulate attractive designer products. Created using leftovers from plastic surgery, the conditions of the beauty industry are highlighted. Beauty World takes questions concerning body image and personal identity to a whole new level. The work was shown for the first time in Mexico as part of Emerging fromthe Shadow.
