Paulina del Paso's work evades definition through its positioning between documentary and video art, utilising as it does real stories or popular well-known myths to create a series of playful and surprising images. Meatballs is a cathartic piece of work that uses irony to retell a personal experience from the artist's childhood whilst embracing its pathetic nature.
del Paso also presented two sound installations, each created specifically for each of the two venues in London and Mexico City. The piece in mexico was made in collaboration with Isabel Muņoz.
